Blaze over deep water
The Ram and the Fish is a study in contrasts that soften each other. Aries is edges and forward motion; Pisces is currents and dream. Early on it’s tender surprise — Aries is disarmed by Pisces’s gentleness and imagination, and Pisces is captivated by Aries’s confidence, the way the Ram just steps forward while Pisces would drift and wonder.
The friction is bruises the other doesn’t see coming. Aries’s honesty, meant plainly, can cut a sensitive Fish who feels ten times more than they let on; Pisces’s retreat into vagueness or hurt silence baffles a Ram who’d rather have it out and be done. Ask Aries for a clear answer and you get one; ask Pisces and you get a weather system. The charge and the dissolve can lose each other in the space between.
But the exchange is beautiful when handled with care. Pisces teaches Aries compassion, imagination, the strength in softness; Aries gives Pisces a champion, a spine, someone who acts on the dreams Pisces only pictures. The warrior learns to be gentle, the dreamer learns to be brave — and each tends the ground the other can’t see.
