Fire against the grain
Aries acts, then thinks; Virgo thinks, then thinks again. On paper you’re built to irritate each other — and at first you sometimes do. But there’s a quiet draw underneath: Aries is secretly relieved that someone catches the details they’d have missed, and Virgo is quietly thrilled by a person bold enough to just begin without needing every contingency solved first.
The rub is tempo and touch. Aries fires off the first idea; Virgo hears a half-finished plan full of holes and says so, and Aries hears that as a no. Virgo’s care can read to the Ram as nitpicking; the Ram’s speed can read to Virgo as carelessness that creates more work. The leap and the checklist keep pulling against each other — and it’s easy to mistake that difference for disrespect.
Yet this is a real complement when both stop defending. Virgo gives Aries a plan that survives contact with reality; Aries gives Virgo the push past the fear of imperfect action. The Ram learns patience, the Analyst learns nerve, and together you both start and finish.
