The seawall and the tide
This is one of the gentler pairings for Capricorn — Earth and Water don’t fight, they shape each other. Pisces feels their way through the world where Capricorn reasons through it, and instead of colliding, those two modes tend to fill each other’s blank spots. Capricorn offers Pisces a shore to come home to, someone who handles the logistics so the dreaming can happen safely. Pisces offers Capricorn permission to feel the thing rather than schedule around it.
The strain shows in how differently you meet a hard day. Capricorn copes by doing — fix it, plan it, move; Pisces copes by feeling it all the way through first, and can take Capricorn’s briskness as being brushed aside. Meanwhile Capricorn loses the thread when a mood arrives with no plan attached, when the tide comes in without warning. One wants a solution, the other wants to be met.
But Pisces teaches Capricorn that not everything needs solving — some things need only company. Capricorn teaches Pisces that love expressed in kept promises is its own quiet devotion. The seawall doesn’t stop the tide; it gives the water a place to belong.
